Forged from 1075 high-carbon steel with a reinforced spine, this cleaver draws from the heavy-duty blades used in colonial American butcher shops of the 1700s and 1800s. Built for breaking down larger cuts and handling the demanding work of meat preparation.
The blade is forged to shape with extra mass along the spine for durability and chopping power. Fitted with a curved maple handle secured by brass rivets for a solid grip during heavy use. This is a working tool made to last.
