Hand-forged from high-carbon steel and fitted with a maple wood handle, this knife draws from the practical designs used in colonial American kitchens and butcher shops of the 1700s and 1800s. The blade is shaped for versatility—equally suited to breaking down cuts of meat or handling everyday kitchen work. Forged to shape, hardened, and tempered using traditional methods. The curved maple handle is secured with copper rivets for a solid, working grip.
