About the Forge

Burnt Mountain Forge focuses on traditional blacksmithing and historically inspired blades.

Each piece is forged by hand using methods rooted in earlier blacksmithing traditions. The goal is not to create factory perfect knives, but tools that carry the character and individuality of true forged work.

Many of the designs are based on historical kitchen and butcher knives commonly used during the 18th and early 19th centuries. These were working tools found in kitchens, farms, and butcher shops rather than decorative pieces.

Because each knife is individually forged and finished by hand, no two pieces are exactly the same.

Burnt Mountain Forge produces practical working knives as well as larger one-of-a-kind blades.
