knives
These knives are hand forged at Burnt Mountain Forge using traditional blacksmithing techniques. Each blade is shaped at the anvil and finished by hand, giving every knife its own character from the forging process.
The designs are inspired by practical kitchen and butcher knives commonly used during the 17th and 18th centuries. These were working tools meant for daily use rather than decorative pieces, and that same spirit guides the knives produced at the forge today.
Each knife is individually forged, so no two pieces are exactly the same. Small variations in shape, texture, and finish are part of the character of true handmade work.
These blades are built to be used, maintained, and passed down rather than treated as disposable tools.
